This is an oldie, but a goodie on needs vs. wants. A must read. Makes me think. It doesn't take long to read, so go read it and comment here about what you think.
Jamie--This is great. Since Chris & I have been married, I have had to remind myself countless times that I don't "need" the pastry blender or egg mold, or the zillions of other little things that make life a bit easier. Thanks for the link...it's a good reminder to a stranger and alien living in such a culture. Sarah
Hey Jamie, I really like that you comment on my blog. It encourages me to update my blog more often when people actually read it.
I have read that particular girltalk blog and I can identify with it. I absolutely love anything that has to do with home decorating, furniture, cookware, organizers, new trends, etc; therefore, they are temptations for me. Sometimes it's easy to brush it off and say it's for my home so it's ok, but I think the girls are right in saying that we need to be content with living simply. Keep up with the blogging, it's nice to know what you are thinking.
