Two Under Two - Collecting Tips

Feel free to pass along any tips you know about having two kiddos under the age of 2. Nate and Timothy will be under 18 months apart, Lord willing.

Most of the nesting is mental this go-round. Any handy advice will be most welcomed and may even be featured in a future blog post.

Because I'll have so much time to do things like blogging... right...

I don't have any advise, really, but I was 23 months younger than my older brother, and 23 months older than my younger brother. It all worked out for us. Congrats!

Well, the first thing that comes to mind it that there WILL be a lot of crying. (Maybe for all three of you.:) So, prepare yourself for that. You will unavoidably have to deal with or care for one of them while the other cries. There is NOTHING wrong with that. Also, make sure that you have a space where you can contain Nate safely while you nurse. I often sat on Brenna's bedroom floor and nursed J while she played. I could shut the door and not have to keep her out of trouble.

that last comment was from EMILY not Charles (C.W.) :) He didn't nurse our kids....

Oh Geez. Emily is right. The crying happens. Routine was key for us. If they knew what to expect, especially Ben, he always did better. Ummmm, pray, every minute, and just take each hour one at a time.
