Friday Catch Up

Greetings!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and you can check out pictures at Kristin's website. (My pies hopefully tasted better than they looked, but they were fun to make.) The best part is truly hearing what everyone is thankful for. Although we love the full bellies at Thanksgiving, the full hearts are really what it's all about! God has been so kind to us in Christ Jesus.

I wanted to pass it on that the fun "I love my husband" and "I love my wife" shirts are on sell for $10 here for a limited time. They make good wedding gifts, too! (Those shirts are the main shirts of theirs I like, but I also love their Glory Revealed CD!)

Tonight, we are headed to Kari's for the (1st annual?) TX Ugly Sweater Christmas and Dollar Store Gift Exchange Party. We have some hideous sweaters, and it should be pretty hilarious. Tomorrow, the ladies at my church are having a Gift Exchange/Fellowship, and I am actually doing a short talk about evangelism and being purposeful, specifically at this time of year. My focus, I think, will be on "Show and Tell"-ing the Gospel at Christmas and always also with a focus on how Christ came into this world not to be served, but to serve, and give His life as a ransom for many. I don't think I have ever done a talk like this to ladies, only kiddos and teens, so please pray for wisdom, humility and grace in preparing. I'd really appreciate your prayers.

Dustin is wrapping up his semester. He has one more to go!! I'm so proud of his hard work and thankful for what God is teaching him.

We are really looking forward to going to TX soon! Yippee!

I'll leave you with a picture, the only other one I have downloaded from Mel's wedding. I am thankful for my sisters and look forward to seeing them soon.
